EUGENE, Ore. – Volunteers describe Hilde as a sweet, calm dog who likes people and enjoys spending quiet time with them.
Hilde was completely relaxed and friendly to everyone she met during her visit to KEZI on Tuesday. She took a nap during her appearance on the 11 a.m. Midday newscast.
Hilde is 7-years-old and is currently living at Greenhill Humane Society while she awaits a new home.
Since she enjoys spending time with people, she hopes to become part of a family that is home a lot. She likes children and also gets along well with other dogs and cats.
Hilde is housetrained, does well on a leash and in the car. She has a medical waiver due to a skin allergy and will require treatment to resolve that issue.
She weighs 45 pounds and her fee is $175. This includes the cost of vaccinations, microchip identification, spaying or neutering, a certificate for a free veterinary exam and more.
Hilde visited KEZI 9 News as Pet of the Week. Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases homeless pets on the Midday newscast at 11 a.m. If you are interested in Hilde or other animals at Greenhill Humane Society, click here.
Greenhill Humane Society is located at 88530 Green Hill Road and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Its phone number is 541-689-1503.
To ensure a good match is made, potential adopters must go to the animal shelter in person to meet with the animal and kennel staff. All family members should be present to ensure the animal is compatible with everyone in the household.
