EUGENE, Ore. – Sunny and Sally are gerbil sisters who are bonded and need to stay together in their new home.
The gerbils are friendly, well-socialized and could go home to a family with children older than age 5. They are curious, adventurous and love to run on their wheel or dig tunnels in their cage.
The two were well-loved in their previous home and had great interactions with children. They were surrendered to Greenhill Humane Society because their family is moving out of the country and could not take them along.
Their adoption fee is $20 each, which includes a certificate for a free veterinary exam. They must go to a home where they will be kept indoors. A video of the two gerbils playing together is available here.
Anyone who is interested in taking Sunny and Sally home should call Greenhill Humane society at 541-689-1503 to make an appointment for a visit. Greenhill is located at 88530 Green Hill Road in Eugene. It is open daily by appointment only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adoptions are currently by appointment only.
Information about the gerbils and the other animals at Greenhill is available here.
