SNAP recipients who lost food due to a wildfire may be able to receive help.

SALEM, Ore. – SNAP recipients who lost food due to a wildfire may be able to receive help.

The Oregon Department of Human Services said some lost food due to a power outage and others to home damage.

Recipients must request replacement benefits within 10 calendar days of experiencing food loss. The amount of benefits that will be received upon approval depends on the monthly issuance.
