SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- The Holiday Farm Fire has expanded to 145,000 acres.
This is up from 105,000 acres Wednesday morning. The containment still remains at 0%.

Burning east of Springfield, officials say the fire activity has slowed. A shift in the winds seems to be slowing the fire's spread. They say helicopters are on standby and ready to move if and when the skies begin to clear up.
As of Wednesday night, 207 fire personel were on site. Some additional resources including a hand crew and heavy machinery have also arrived.
