GLIDE, Ore. -- Officials are now going back to their initial report on the Jack Fire confirming it was human-caused.
On August 6th, they had reported it was human-caused and then reversed course.
The fire is currently burning over 23,800 acres. Containment for the fire is sitting at 53%.
Cost of operations on the fire is estimated to be at $39.4 million.
The Rough Patch Complex burning near the Jack Fire is burning over 29,700 acres and is around 11% contained.
Officials said the complex was caused by lightning.
