Car crashes into hotel room

The driver and the woman who was in the room are uninjured.

EUGENE, Ore. -- At 7:30 Saturday morning a car drove over the sidewalk and crashed into the America's Best Value Inn on West 6th Avenue. 

Sheena Cocroft was in the room when the car came crashing in.

She was in shock after being woken up by the crash but was able to escape before getting hurt.

"I was facing the wall so when I turned around everything was gone it was totally exposed to the street and there was two ladies and they were just like come out before it falls," said Cocroft.

The manager of the inn did not want to comment.

The driver, Jordan Belverly, was arrested and charged with DUII and careless driving.

Both Cocroft and Belverly are uninjured.
