CRESWELL, Ore. -- Four people were injured, two seriously, after a three-car crash on Camas Swale Road.

The crash happened on Saturday night around 6:00 p.m. on Camas Swale road, in a rural area of Creswell.

Officials said seven people were involved and four were injured, one of those being a young child.

Residents in the area say that two cars were travelling east bound on both lanes of the two lane road, when one of the cars collided with a pick up truck heading west bound on Camas Swale road.

Robin Franklin, the owner of the field that the crash slid into, arrived on the scene, before first responders, to help, and said one of the driver's injuries looked serious.

"I was not sure he was gonna make it, he was breathing but completely out of sorts, and his legs were twisted sideways," Franklin said.

Oregon State Police and the Lane County Sheriff's Office redirected traffic and closed part of the road, but it has since reopened.

The cause of the crash and the names of those involved have not been released. The crash is still under investigation.
