TANGENT,  Ore. -- After law enforcement received a complaint of animal neglect, 35 cats are now at Safehaven Humane Society in Tangent.

Employees at SafeHaven said the home the cats were previously at had no water and very little food.

Many of the cats need to be treated for health issues, including one cat with a bad infection in his eye that they have been calling "One-eyed Willy."

"They're very friendly. Some need more medical attention than others. But some, we might be able to be moving some of them out to adoption as early as the beginning of next week," said Executive Director Chris Storm.

Safehaven Humane Society is a nonprofit that is completely donation run. They are now looking for donations of cat litter and food for the 35 cats.
