LINCOLN CITY, Ore. -- A man and three children are in good condition after being involved in a crash in Lincoln City.

Police said Paul Qualls crashed a van in the 600 block of SE Oar on Monday at about 5 p.m. Witnesses told police the van was speeding up the road and crashed into a ravine.

They said the van rolled several times and three children, ages 5, 8, and 9, were thrown from the van. They said two of the children were pinned down by the van and witnesses helped pushed the van off of them.

Officers said the three children and Qualls were transported to the hospital. Police said they are all in good condition.

Officials are still investigating the crash but believe Qualls may have had a medical emergency at the time of the crash.
