EUGENE, Ore. -- An early morning fire at Farwest Steel started in a laser cutter exhaust shaft, firefighters said.
Crews responded to the fire just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.
KEZI 9 News This Morning was on the scene. Photojournalist Scott Dodge spotted some smoke from his vantage point off the property.
Around 5:30 a.m there were two engines left along with the two fire chiefs. The scene was cleared around 6:10 a.m.
Farwest Steel is located at 2000 Henderson Avenue.
