KEZI Transmitter Change
Important Notice for Over-the-Air Viewers
KEZI has moved our transmission facilities to a new location. You may need to make some adjustments.
On Monday, June 17, KEZI switched to a full-power transmitter at a new location on Prairie Mountain, west of Junction City. This new, upgraded transmitter replaces KEZI's older transmission facilities on Coburg Ridge.
Who could be affected by this change?
This change may affect some over-the-air viewers in Eugene/Springfield and some neighboring areas. Most over-the-air viewers will continue to receive KEZI without having to make any changes.
You will not be affected if you watch KEZI on cable, satellite, or our live stream. People outside the greater Eugene/Springfield area who watch KEZI on our other translators are not affected. As part of this change, KEZI also improved the signal and broadcast coverage from our South Eugene translator on Blanton Heights.
If I am affected, what should I do?
You may need to adjust your antenna and rescan your TVs to watch KEZI. To adjust your antenna, just point it toward Prairie Mountain, due west of Junction City, or to the improved Blanton Heights translator in South Eugene. If necessary, then rescan your TVs to receive KEZI. Please check to see if you are still receiving KEZI’s signal before making any changes.
What should I do if I adjust my antenna and rescan my TV and still can't receive KEZI?
It is always our goal to bring KEZI's free over-the-air signal to as many households in our viewing area as possible. If you need help trying to receive KEZI after adjusting your antenna and rescanning your TV, then please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, physical address, and contact information so we can track our signal in that area. You can also call KEZI’s Engineering Department Line at 541-225-1150.
