The front will arrive this evening, bringing in mostly cloudy skies as well as chance of patchy drizzle. Rainfall will likely be less than 0.01 inches.
An upper-level ridge will build through the weekend, bringing cooler northerly flow, supporting clear skies and dry conditions. The main impact will be overnight lows in the 30s. Lighter winds and higher dew points in the Willamette Valley will also bring fog in the morning hours.
High pressure will continue to build next week as cold air mass moves along the east slopes of the Rockies. This will keep temperatures in the upper 50s and near freezing overnight. With cold overnight temperatures, frost will be likely in the inland valleys.
