Coos County, Ore. -- The 911 emergency phone lines have been repaired in Coos and Curry counties, officials said Thursday morning.
The lines had been down since Tuesday. The issue initially affected Coos and Curry counties and later was expanded to include Coos Bay and Coquille. Calls to 911 were routed to Douglas County and relayed to the appropriate dispatch center during the outage.
Ziply Fiber has informed Coos Bay that the issue causing the outage has been repaired and no additional outages are expected.
Text-to-911 remained operational throughout the outage.
