ALBANY, Ore. – A motel manager is Albany is facing child pornography charges, after allegations of unwanted sexual contact with a customer.
Police opened an investigation into Budget Inn manager Dineshkumar Patel, 62, on June 16.
A female customer told police he had subjected her to unwanted sexual contact in one of the rooms of the motel.
Officers said they found child pornography in Patel’s possession during their investigation. He was arrested and booked into jail on Tuesday.
Police are asking anyone with similar concerns at the motel on Pacific Boulevard to call the Albany Police Detective unit at 541-917-7686.
