Two dogs die in RV fire in Eugene

Fire crews say two dogs died in fire that destroyed an RV.

EUGENE, Ore. – Two animals died when a travel trailer went up in flames Friday afternoon.

When crews responded to reports of an RV on fire in the 3700 block of Dove Lane, they say the RV was fully involved.

Occupants were able to get out safely but reported two dogs were missing. Crews extinguished the flames, and found the missing dogs had died in the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
