Barn is a total loss after fire Saturday night

Miller told KEZI 9 News that the barn is a total loss and about $100,000 worth of damage was done.

EUGENE, Ore. -- A barn that caught on fire Saturday night was a total loss to the tune of thousands of dollars. 

This happened around 8:30 p.m. on Crow Road just north of Erickson Road.

Tressa Miller with Lane Fire Authority said crews could see the flames from down the road.

She said the barn was fully engulfed in flames and the house nearby was exposed but not damaged.

Miller said the residents were not home at the time but their neighbors saw the flames and called 911. 

Miller told KEZI 9 News that the barn is a total loss and about $100,000 worth of damage was done.
