Corvallis, Ore. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Oregon State quarterback Jake Luton in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Luton played in 11 games for the Beavers in 2019, a turnaround season in year 2 of the Jonathan Smith era. As the starter Luton threw 222/358 (62 percent) for 28 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions.
Following the season, Luton won the Mayo Comeback player of the Year award. He is the first Beaver ever selected by Jacksonville.
