BEND, Ore. (AP) -- Court documents indicate that a Bend message therapist was allowed to return to work where he assaulted two more women while he was under investigation for the first report of sexual abuse.
The Bulletin reports the three victims have filed a lawsuit against 40-year-old Christopher Rosario, the Bend Massage Envy franchise and the national company, seeking more than $10 million.
Rosario was sentenced to more than four years in prison earlier this year for sexually abusing three women.
In requesting for the court to remove the company from the suit, attorney Brad Shwer argued that the national company couldn't have reasonably foreseen Rosario would assault additional women, despite knowing about the criminal investigation.
The victims' attorney Tim Williams argued it was foreseeable, noting the intimate setting of a message.
