Boy sent to the hospital following two vehicle crash

Police said a car swerved on Harlow Road to avoid hitting a boy riding his bike. That car was hit by another car.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- A two-vehicle crash involving a bicycle sent a boy to the hospital Wednesday night.

Officers said the boy was riding his bike across the street when a van swerved to miss him on Harlow Road, near the Gateway Mall.

A Domino's delivery car then hit the van, police said.

The boy wasn't hit but was injured when he fell off his bike. He was taken to Riverbend Hospital.

No one else was injured.
