The incident happened on Nov. 12, and the Roseburg Police Department and Oregon State Police Explosives Unit responded to the high school parking lot. Several devices were found, believed to be altered fireworks. Police said they are waiting for confirmation.

Long and Ganieany were identified as people of interest during the investigation. Police said they live in the neighborhood. Investigators learned the brothers allegedly made the items and threw them over the fence into the parking lot.

Police do not believe they were trying to harm anyone or damage property. Neither Long nor Ganieany are believed to have been on the campus during the incident.
