SALEM, Ore. -- The Oregon Bureau of Land Management is closing all public lands inside the Holiday Farm Fire and land north of Highway 20 in Linn County.
The closures are effective immediately and will remain in effect until conditions allow for safe use of public lands. It includes all public lands, roads, sites and trails managed by the Bureau of Land Management. This is in response to the active wildfires in the state.
The public must not enter the area. Exemptions include federal and local members of an organized medical, rescue or firefighting force and people who carry written approval signed by a bureau authorized officer.
The BLM is also closing all lands east of Interstate 5 in Marion, Clackamas and Multnomah counties. Recovery of these areas is expected to continue into 2021.
