AUG. 2 UPDATE: The Jack Fire continues to burn in Douglas County 20 miles east of Glide.
The fire remains stable at 23,002 acres. Containment has inched ahead to 76%.
A total of 550 people are working the fire. Five aircrafts, four dozers and 19 engines are being used in the firefighting efforts.
Officials say 243 structures are threatened by the blaze. Sixteen people have been injured.
The Jack Fire was reported on July 5 and comes nearly ten months after the Archie Creek Fire last fall. The cause is under investigation.
ROUGH PATCH COMPLEX
Crews have confirmed a total of 19 fires over the weekend, called the Rough Patch Complex. It's burning about 353 acres total 20 miles east of Glide. It is 1% contained.
A total of 172 people are working the complex fire. No structures are threatened and no injuries have been reported.
Six dozers and six engines are assisting the firefighting efforts, along with shared help from the five aircrafts deployed for the Jack Fire.
The Rough Patch Complex sparked up on July 29, and the cause is under investigation.
