CORVALLIS, Ore. – There’s some unfortunate news for varsity football players at Corvallis High School: the season is now over due to COVID-19.

Officials say the team recently played a game against Central High School and a player on that team tested positive.

All football players and coaches have been on a 14-day quarantine since April 2.

The team’s last scheduled game was supposed to be against Crescent Valley this Friday, but will not happen due to the quarantine.
