Coast to Valley Express fare changes

Children 5-years old and younger can now ride for free and the children must be accompanied by an adult.

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- There are changes that took effect starting Jan. 1 to the Coast to Valley Express fare structure.

Children 5 years old and younger can now ride for free and the children must be accompanied by an adult.

For passengers traveling the full route from the Albany and Corvallis to Newport the fare has also changed.

The ticket costs $10 for those 13 and older and $7 for seniors ages 60 or up or youth 6 to 12 years old.

The Coast to Valley Express is a service provided by Benton County Transportation.
