SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Conway's Restaurant and Lounge on Main Street in Springfiled is providing free hot meals to anyone who has been impacted by the fires.
In additon to providing meals, Conway's has a tent out front filed with clothes, shoes, diapers, toiletries and toys.
Co-owner Shayla Landeros says it's not only about providing a meal, but giving people a chance to sit down and not worry about losing everything.
"We were actually here late at night when people were getting those alerts and I saw people starting to fill up the parking lot with their RVs," she said. "I looked at my boyfriend who owns this place with me and I said like, we have to do something."
Conway's is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to those who need it.
"Anything you really want, we're gonna give it to you," Landeros said. "We just want everyone to be OK and have at least a moment to sit down and have a meal, try to not think so much about losing everything."
All are welcome and invited to stop by Conway's.
