COOS BAY, Ore. -- The Coos Bay Police Department is the latest to take part in a lip sync challenge that has been making the rounds of various police departments around the country.

Police departments are challenged to do a lip sync video and then challenge other departments.

The Coos Bay department posted the video to their Facebook page Wednesday afternoon, and it features police and fire officials lip syncing to popular songs.

In the post, they thanked the Coos Bay Library for their help and challenged the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Coquille Fire & Rescue and the Reedsport Police Department.

The Norfolk Police Department in Virginia received more than a million shares with their response to the challenge, which was posted July 9. Their video features a theatrical rendition of “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.
