Coos Bay police seek public's help finding armed robbery suspect

Police said the suspect should be considered dangerous.

COOS BAY, Ore. -- Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect in Coos Bay, and they’re asking for the public’s help.

An armed robbery was reported at Old World Antiques, 285 S. Broadway Street, at about 3:11 p.m. Thursday.

Police said a man wearing a mask threatened employees at the store with a firearm and stole an undisclosed amount of property. He left the scene in a car similar to a black 2008 Nissan Maxima.

Witnesses said the man was about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin to medium build. They said he was wearing an University of Oregon hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police said the suspect should be considered dangerous.
