SALEM, Ore. – Oregon Health Authority announced 43 new coronavirus cases and one new death on Monday.
The new cases bring the state total to 2,354. They include two in Coos, two in Deschutes, five in Linn, one in Malheur, 11 in Marion, 12 in Multnomah, nine in Washington, and one in Yamhill.
The two Coos County cases are at Shutter Creek Correctional Institution, which now has 13 inmates and one employee who have tested positive.
OHA said a 91-year-old Washington County woman tested positive April 17 and died April 25 at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. She had underlying health conditions.
The state death toll is now at 92.
