COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. – A Cottage Grove man is in jail, accused of driving drunk in a fatal crash last year.
Oregon State Police said Christopher Paschall, 51, was arrested on Sunday.
The crash happened on June 26, 2020, on Highway 101 near milepost 152. Troopers say Paschall was headed north when the vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree.
Passenger James Paschall, 20, died due to the crash.
OSP was notified by the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife that Christopher Paschall had felony warrants out of Lincoln County, and troopers contacted the man and arrested him.
Paschall is in the Lane County Jail on charges of manslaughter, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.
