CRESWELL, Ore.-- It may not have been what they planned, but one couple got married this weekend despite the wildfires.

Joshua and Leisha Miller couldn't find a venue on short notice, so they got married at their home. The couple says says the pictures capture some of the sadness in the community.

You can see the haze in the background in their wedding photos at Creswell Garden Lake Park. Their first venue was cancelled several months ago, because of COVID.

So they rescheduled at a venue in Blue River, which was likely destroyed by fire just four days before their wedding.

They say despite the obstacles, they had a wonderful day with their families.
