EUGENE, Ore. -- A small grass fire on Skinner Butte is now under control, according to officials.

Officials at the scene say the fire was caused intentionally. The Eugene Police Department is currently searching the area for potential suspects.

Access to portions of Skinner Butte was restricted for a short time as fire crews worked to put out the blaze.

Officials say crews will remain on scene for a little while longer to mop-up.

Initial reports of the fire came in around 1:15 p.m. Sunday.
