OAKRIDGE, Ore. – Crews cleared a crashed semi-truck from Highway 58 east of Oakridge on Wednesday.

The rig crashed on June 27, killing the driver, but steep terrain made recovery difficult.

The road was closed between mileposts 51 and 57 until 2 p.m. Drivers were asked to take an alternate route.

While the highway is back open, it will be reduced to single lane traffic for the next two weeks for repairs to the shoulder.
