EUGENE, Ore. – The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help identifying two suspects in a theft at a Eugene business in January.
The sheriff’s office said on Jan. 10 two men broke into Mid Valley Tractor on Highway 99 near Enid Road and stole a truck that was pulling a trailer loaded with a 2015 Polaris RZR 1000.
They tried to use the truck to break down the security gate but were unsuccessful, police said. They used a different vehicle on the lot to ram the gate and get away.
The loss is valued at $25,000. The vehicles were recovered in the Cottage Grove area.
The sheriff’s office obtained video surveillance showing the suspects. Anyone who can identify them should contact the sheriff’s office at 541-682-4141.
