SUTHERLIN, Ore. – A Douglas County man was arrested this week, accused of trying to use the internet to lure a minor for sex.
Todd William Compton Jr., 30, was booked into the Douglas County jail and was still listed in custody as of Friday. Compton faces charges of first degree sexual online corruption of a minor, second degree online sexual corruption of a child, and five counts of luring a minor.
Sutherlin Police are not releasing details on how Compton allegedly committed the crime, citing the sensitive nature of the allegations and the on-going investigation.
