SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Dozens marched from the Springfield Justice Center to Springfield High School as part of the 21st Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March and Celebration.
Once they got to the school, visitors were able to read various essays and poems and see art that students from Springfield Public Schools made in King's honor.

KEZI 9 News spoke to one woman who attended the event to find out what she thought of King.
"Thank you so much for putting your life on the line to create opportunity for all because all groups have the same gifts amount doled out," Talicia Brown-Crowell said. "But not all groups have the same opportunity. So, we need all groups to have the same equal amount of opportunity available."
Monday’s event was sponsored by a number of local organizations, including Springfield Public Schools, Springfield Arts Commission and Willamalane Park and Recreation, just to name a few.
