DRAIN, Ore. – The manager and owner of a strip club in Drain are facing charges after deputies say they violated liquor regulations.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the arrests were made on Saturday just before 3:30 a.m.
Deputies reportedly learned the business had been serving alcohol despite not having a liquor license from the Oregon Liquor Control Commission. The license was surrendered in March after multiple violations and a suspension.
Manager Rik Marin and owner and bartender Jamie Hennricks were contacted by deputies. Authorities reportedly confirmed that alcohol was being served and tips and donations were being accepted in exchange, but with a suggested amount.
Deputies seized the alcohol at the club.
Marin and Hennricks were taken to the Douglas County Jail on charges of mixing, storing or serving liquor without a license, a misdemeanor.
