SUTHERLIN, Ore. – Troopers located a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run on Interstate 5 south of Cottage Grove Friday morning.
Oregon State Police said the suspect was driving at a high rate of speed in the Rice Hill area.
The pursuit ended with the vehicle crashing at milepost 133.
Micaela Horning, 26, taken into custody. OSP said she wasn’t compliant and a Taser had to be used.
The woman was taken to the Douglas County Jail on charges of felony elude, reckless driving, recklessly endangering and resisting arrest.
The case is not related to the hit-and-run crash in Eugene that killed a pedestrian.
