Eugene, Ore. -- No. 13 Oregon will face No. 5 Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday.

Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal called Utah the "most talented defense we've faced."

Luckily for the Ducks starting center Jake Hanson is expected to play.

According to Cristobal Hanson was a "full go" in practice after sitting out the Civil War game against Oregon State following an injury suffered in the first half against Arizona State the week prior.

Fellow starting offensive Lineman Calvin Throckmorton played center in Hanson's absence.

"You lose a guy that touches the ball on every single play there's going to be an impact, there's going to be an effect," Cristobal said. "I thought that Calvin Throckmorton played really really well. So some of the hiccups we've had I wouldn't say it''s due to that. I'd say it's the simplicity of making sure the margin of error on your execution has got to be minimized especially when you come down the stretch and you're playing down to the end of the season when there's enough tape on you."

The last time the Ducks faced Utah was November 10 of last season. Oregon fell short, 32-25, on the road. The Utes were without starting quarterback Tyler Huntley and running back Zach Moss in that contest. The Utes dynamic duo is expected to play on Friday.

This is Oregon's third Pac-12 Championship game appearance since the game was added in 2011 and its first since 2014.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Friday from Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
