Ducks take Pac-12 crown, advance to NCAA Tournament

Oregon caps off their amazing tournament run by defeating Washington to capture their second Pac-12 Tournament title in four years.

Las Vegas, NEV -- The Ducks are going dancing. Oregon Men's Basketball defeats top-seeded Washington, 68-48, and earns their second Pac-12 Tournament Championship in four years.

With the win, the Ducks snag an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. 

After going into halftime with a two-point lead the Ducks went on a 14-2 to begin the second half. 

Oregon dominated on both ends of the floor in the second half outscoring the Huskies, 40-22. 

Payton Pritchard was named the Pac-12 Tournament's Most Outstanding Player after leading the Ducks with 20 points on 7-9 shooting. Pritchard also added seven assists and six rebounds. 

Louis King added 15 points while Paul White added 14 points for Oregon.

The Ducks held the Huskies to 22 percent shooting in the second half and 33 percent for the game. Oregon also kept Pac-12 Player of the Year Jaylen Nowell in check. Nowell scored just eight points, which led all Huskies' scorers. 

Oregon was the more aggressive team going 20-22 for the line. Washington went to the foul line eight times, converting on seven attempts. 

Over the course of the tournament the Ducks recorded 297 points, 36 steals, 23 blocks and 107 made field goals. All four are Pac-12 Tournament records. 

The Ducks will wait for their name to be called on Selection Sunday. which is set for 3 p.m. on March 17.
