EUGENE, Ore. -- Eugene police say their 911 service and non-emergency service for landline phones are down.
They say Century Link is working on the issue. In the meantime, residents should use their cell phones or go to the nearest fire station if they have an emergency.
Communities affected include Blue River, Leaburg, Lowell, Oakridge, Marcola, Springfield and some Douglas County areas. This could impact other Lane County locations east of Interstate 5.
