JUNCTION CITY, Ore.-- The Junction City School District said K through 5 will head back to the classroom for hybrid learning next week.

Starting on Monday, K through 4 students at Territorial Elementary school will be back in the classroom. Laural elementary and the 5th Grade Academy will begin on Wednesday. The delay for those students will allow more time for teachers and staff to prepare for in-person learning.

When it comes to grades 6 through 12, district officials said they plan on getting those students back into the classroom for hybrid learning on Feb. 22. However, this date is tentative based on if the county meets state metrics.

The district also said 30% of their staff will receive their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine this weekend.
