Employee tests positive at Eugene care facility

The facility will test all residents and staff members tomorrow.

EUGENE, Ore. – A staff member has tested positive at a care facility in Eugene, Lane County Public Health said.

Oaktree Residential Living, 5030 W. Port St., will test all residents and staff members on Tuesday.

Over the weekend, the county reported 20 new cases, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 590. That includes confirmed and presumptive cases.

There are 36 cases that are currently considered infectious, and three people are hospitalized.

More than 45,000 Lane County residents have been tested.
