EUGENE, Ore. – Eugene Police are finding a new way to bring Safety Town to the community during a pandemic.
The goal of the experience is to teach kids the importance of safety. This year, families can go online to participate.
The virtual environment includes videos and online materials connected to topics such as animal safety, bicycle safety, fire safety, and poison safety.
Sluggo from the Eugene Emeralds will help teach children the importance of pedestrian and vehicle safety.
