Eugene car dealership raided in drug investigation

The dealer suspected in the case was not found, and four others were arrested on unrelated charges.

EUGENE, Ore. – A search warrant was served Thursday as part of an investigation into a Eugene car dealer believed to be selling methamphetamine.

Officers arrived to Buy a Car, 825 River Avenue, late on Thursday, police said. Eugene police’s SWAT team and the street crimes unit were both on scene.

Nine people were found at the location, including a woman and baby. Four were arrested on warrants unrelated to the case:

  • Jared Lee Moe, 31, of Oakridge: three warrants out of the Springfield Police Department
  • Sama Rose Hernandez, 23, of Veneta: parole violation
  • Evan Ben Nelson, 32, of Waldport: parole violation
  • Kenneth Curtis Polchowski, 22, of Eugene: failure to appear

Police said officers found evidence of narcotics delivery and weapons at the location. The primary suspect was not found at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
