EUGENE, Ore. – Plastic is everywhere you go and in almost everything you use.

One company in Eugene noticed this and decided to make the process of making plastic products more sustainable.

PakTech makes 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic handles, like the rings around cans and bottles.

Vice President Zak Borg said they are always looking for entry-level employees and they have a partnership with Lane Community College to hire those with manufacturing skills.

“Being able to remake something that’s used from a consumer point of view and thought of as a high-quality project from recycled material is really kind of a new thing,” Borg said.

The opportunity for growth is exponential, Borg said, and the most important thing to have when you apply is a good spirit and a team-work mentality.
