Eugene man linked to Dari Mart burglaries arrested in Springfield

Detectives were called to assist and ultimately linked Bingham to another Dari Mart burglary that happened previously.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. --- A Eugene man who has been linked to two Dari Mart burglaries has been arrested. 

Springfield Police got a report of a burglary around 3:13 a.m. Friday at the Dari Mart at 1950 Mohawk Blvd.

The suspect, who has since been identified as 38-year-old Brandon Bingham, allegedly drove backwards into the doors, stole property from inside and left before officers arrived.

During the investigation, officers found broken vehicle parts near the entrance and developed a suspect vehicle description.

Officer Lauren Card found Bingham driving in the Gateway area. During a traffic stop, she located evidence of the burglary and Bingham was taken into custody.

Detectives were summoned to assist and ultimately linked Bingham to another Dari Mart burglary that happened previously. 

Bingham was lodged at the Lane County Jail for felony burglary.
