EUGENE, Ore. -- The Eugene Police Department will have additional officers out Wednesday night, as Halloween is one of the busiest nights of the year.
Police said they plan on having nearly 20 officers patrolling throughout Eugene. They also plan on having at least four to six officers as well as Red Hat downtown guides and other ambassadors monitoring downtown.

Although police said they want everyone to have a fun time tonight, they want to remind people that safety should be their main focus.
