EUGENE, Ore. – Eugene police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian at River Road and Silver Lane.
Police and Lane County Sheriff's Office responded shortly before 7 a.m. Monday to a report of a woman in the roadway at that location. Police said it appeared that the woman had been hit by a vehicle, but there was no vehicle at the scene. The woman was responsive and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Just before 10 a.m. on Monday police received a call from Mark W. Hause, 69, of Eugene, who said he may have hit the woman. Police said he was cooperative and he was cited for felony hit-and-run.
