EUGENE, Ore. -- A man had his bicycle stolen in broad daylight by two shotgun-toting men Tuesday afternoon, extending a weeks-long crime spree that has Eugene police baffled.

The latest incident occurred near the intersection of Royal and Fairfield around 1:40 p.m., police said.

The victim reported that two men approached him and took his bike. One of the subjects was armed with a "short-barreled" rifle, police said.

The first subject was described as a dark-skinned man in his twenties, about 5'11", with scruffy facial hair.

The second subject is a 20 to 25-year-old man with blond hair who was riding a BMX-type bicycle.

Eugene police also released a public service video, sorting the recent spate of robberies into four categories: deli, store, strong-arm, and street.

Tuesday's incident was classified as "street."
