EUGENE, Ore. -- If you’d like to weigh in on the future Eugene Town Square, you’ll have your chance on Thursday.

The city has worked with a design team to create three visions for what the Park Blocks could become in downtown Eugene.

At the Town Square Block Party on July 18, you can take a look at the concepts, ask questions and provide feedback.

The event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. at 8th Avenue and Oak Street. Participants will be able to take part in outdoor yoga and watch dance performances among other family-friendly activities. Everyone will also receive free shaved ice, and there will be food and drink options available.

If you can’t make it, you can provide your thoughts in an online survey starting on Thursday. For the survey and detailed project updates, click here

City officials said the designs come after more than 1,000 community members responded to a survey about how they envision the future of the space. Over the past couple of months, the design team has been exploring different options and meeting with stakeholders.
